Welcome to Chateauroux

Chateauroux is a small, charming community nestled into the western edge of Andover, Kansas. While the closest cross streets are 159th E. and Central, once you enter past the clock tower you’ll feel like you’re not in the hectic world or Kansas anymore. There are fewer than forty homes in Chateauroux yet there is a clubhouse, community pool, playground and restful common areas.

In this lovely little 20-acre community of Country French homes there are street lanterns, a stone bridge, a gentle waterfall, a stream and two ponds. A path winds past the waterfall and over a wooden footbridge, then along the stream and pond. Children swing at the playground and play catch in the street. Neighbors old and new stop to visit.

Even those who have moved in recently feel at home and are welcomed. Chateauroux feels like a quaint village with a sense of community, congeniality and tranquility. Those who live in Chateauroux have gotten away from it all!
